300 is an American historical action film that was made by Warner Brothers, and it was released on March 9, 2007. When TNT bought the rights to air the movie certain scenes were censored due to network standards. As a result violence was toned down and some sexual scenes were removed. As of October 2019 the movie airs completely uncensored on TNT.

  • The scene that shows a Spartan soldier's sword impaling a Persian soldier was modified for the TNT broadcast. In the TNT version, the Spartan's sword doesn't come out of the Persian soldier's back.
  • The scene that shows one of the oracles dancing was modified for the TNT broadcast. In the TNT version the woman's nipple was blurred.
  • The scene that shows King Leonidas's wife sitting up to talk to him was modified for the TNT broadcast. in the TNT version her nipple was blurred.
  • The scene that shows King Leonidas and his wife having sex was shortened. As a result you can no longer see his wife's nipples.
  • Any scene that shows one of the Spartan's spears going through one of the Persian rider's chests was cut.
  • The scene that shows the Spartan's masquerading as the Persian soldiers after the battle was done was modified for the TNT broadcast. In the TNT version the screen was cropped, as a result you can no longer see the soldier's using their spears to kill the enemy soldiers. And the blood/stabbing sound effects were muted.
  • The scene that shows King Leonidas taking to his captain about him hoping the Persians assassinate him was modified for the TNT broadcast. In the TNT version the blood/stabbing sound effects were muted.
  • The scene that shows one of the Spartan soldiers being killed by the immortals was modified for the TNT broadcast. In the TNT version the sword doesn't go through the Spartan's stomach.
  • The scene that shows one of the immortals killing a Spartan by using his sword to go through the Spartan's throat was cut.
  • The scene that shows King Leonidas's using his spear to kill the immortal who is about to kill one of the Spartans was cut.
  • Shaved time: 12 seconds

Where to find it uncensored[]

The DVD's, theatrical release, and the versions on video streaming sites are completely uncensored; and as of 2019 the movie airs uncensored on TNT with a TV-MA rating it also airs uncensored on FX.
