Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn is an American RPG video game that was devleloped by Bioware and published by Interplay Entertainment, and the game was released on September 21, 2000. When the game was released in Germany the game was censored in order to get a 12 rating, as a result violence was toned down.

- The blood slider in the opitions menu was removed.
- In the uncensored version enemies have a blood animation when they get hit. In the German version the blood animation was removed.
- In the uncensored version weaker enemies have a chance to explode sending blood and guts everwhere. In the German version the enemies just fall to the ground.

Every other country has it compeltely uncensored.
