Battlestar Galactica is an American Sci-Fi show that was made by the Sci-Fi channel and it was released on October 18, 2004 and ended on March 20, 2009. Due to Sci-Fi's network standards violence and sexuality were toned down.

Season Two[]

  • Episode 10
  1. The scene that shows Lt. Thoral trying to rape Boomer was shortened. As a result, you can no longer see Lt. Thoral pulling down Boomer's pants, as a result you can no longer see her butt.
  2. The scene that shows a close up on Boomer screaming was cut.
  3. The scene that shows Tyrol and Helo coming to help Boomer was modified for the Syfy broadcast. In the uncensored version you see Lt. Thoral on top on Boomer. In the Sci-Fi version you see Tyrol and Helo pulling Lt. Thoral away from Boomer.

Season Three[]

  • Episode 9
  1. The scene that shows Apollo getting knocked down was modified for the Syfy broadcast. In the uncensored version it shows Apollo's face bloody due to getting punched. In the Syfy version it shows an alternate camera angle, as a result you see a different side of Apollo's face and you can no longer see the blood.
  2. The scene that shows a close up on Apollo's bloody face was modified for the Syfy broadcast. In the uncensored version it shows blood coming out of his eyebrow and ear. In the Syfy version it shows the back of his head.
  3. The scene that shows Apollo spitting out his mouth guard was modified for the Syfy broadcast. In the Syfy version it was replaced with a scene that shows Apollo lying on the ground. (the uncensored version Apollo's face is covered in blood)
  4. The scene that shows a close up on the mouth guard coming out of Apollo's mouth was cut.
  5. The scene that shows Dualla massages her husband's shoulders was cut. (This scene might have been cut due to Apollo's face having a cut)
  6. The scene that shows a close up on Apollo's face, while Dualla asks Apollo not to fight was cut. (This scene might have been cut due to the cut on his face.)
  7. The scene that shows Admiral Adama lying on the ground was shortened. As a result you can no longer see him spitting out his blood mouth ground.

Season Four[]

  • Episode 18
  1. The scene that shows Number Eight in the infirmary was cut. (This scene might have been cut due to a large amount of blood covering her neck and parts of her face.)

The DVDs and Blu-ray discs are completely uncensored.
