Bushido Blade is a fighting video game that was developed by Lightweight and published by Squaresoft/Sony Computer Entertainment. The video game was released on March 14, 1997. The North American release (September 30, 1997) was modified to include more graphic violence, and it was inherited for the PAL version. The more graphic version is rated Teen by the ESRB and 18+ by the ELSPA.

In uncensored version (released later than in Japan) when swords meet there are red sparks. Due to it looking like it may be blood the Japanese release of the game has the red sparks changed to be yellow sparks

Every other country has it uncensored.
