Call of Duty: WWII is an American action game that developed by Sledgehammer Games, and was published by Activision. And it was released on November 7, 2017. Due to German laws regarding Nazi imagery, Nazi symbols were censored.

Germany Censorship[edit | edit source]

  • Any Nazi imagery, including the swastika, was removed and replaced with the Iron Cross.
  • A wounded soldier on the beach was missing a arm till patch 1.5.

Japan Censorship[edit | edit source]

  • Gore was censored. Human body parts can no longer be separated because of CERO's regulations.

Australia Censorship[edit | edit source]

  • The scene that shows a Nazi solider unzipping his fly and advancing on a woman was modified for the Australian release. In the Australian version the sound of the zipper being unzipped was muted and the woman is wearing pants instead of a skirt.

Where to find it uncensored[edit | edit source]

Every other country has it completely uncensored.
