Command and Conquer is an American RTS video game that was developed by Westwood Studios and was published by Virgin Interactive, and it was released on 1995. Due to the game targeting a 16 rating in German certain scenes had to be censored. As a result violence was toned down.

Germany CensorshipEdit

  • All death cry's have been replaced with robotic noises.
  • Noises caused by tanks running over soldiers were replaced with metal sounds.
  • All human soldiers were changed to androids.
  • Red blood was digitally recolored black.
  • In the eighth mission the word "death" in the mission intro was changed to "destoryed".
  • The scene that shows a GDI tank firing at a fleeing NOD solider was modified for the German release. In the German version the solider was digitally removed.
  • The scene that shows a baby screaming was modified for the German release. In the German version it was replaced with a x-ray scan.
  • The scene that shows one of the officers getting shot by the other officer was modified for the German release. In the German version it never shows the officer getting shot.
  • The scene that shows a GDI solider stalking a NOD solider, and then shoots and kill him was cut.
  • The scene that shows a NOD tank firing at a fleeing GDI solider was modified for the German release. In the German version the solider was digitally removed.
  • The scene that takes place in a warehouse if you fail one of the two missions was removed.
  • The scene that shows Kane walking behind Seth, and then shoots Seth was cut.
  • The scene that shows a screaming baby was modified for the German release. In the German version it was replaced with a scene showing four doctors.
  • The scene that shows a rocket hitting a GDI base was modified for the German release. In the German version the scream that one of the soliders makes was muted.
  • The scene that shows a helecopter being shot down was modified for the German release. In the German version the screams that the soliders make were muted.
  • The scene that shows a helecopter exploding was modified for the German release. In the German version the screams that the people make were muted.

Where to find it uncensoredEdit

Every other country has it completely uncensored.
