Command and Conquer Tiberian Sun is an American RTS video game that was developed by Westwood Studios and published by Electronic Arts. It was released on August 27, 1999. Due to the German release targeting a 16 rating, violence was toned down.

- In the German release, red blood was digitally recolored blue.
- The death cry's that infantry make were changed to metallic sounds.
- The scene that shows Slavik cutting General Hassan's throat was modified for the German release. In the German version it was replaced with a scene showing the Nod infantry standing while they watch General Hassan die.
- The scene that shows a tank running over a GDI soldier was modified for the German release. In the German version it was replaced with a black screen.
- The scene that shows a Nod soldier shooting a GDI soldier was modified for the German release. In the German version the scene was digitally darkened.
- The scene that shows a close up on a wall covered in blood was modified for the German release. In the German version the scene was replaced with a black screen.
