Cowboy Bebop: Knocking on Heaven's Door is a Japanese movie that was made by Bones, and it was released on September 1, 2001. When the movie aired on Adult Swim some scenes were censored due to network standards.
Censorship
USA Censorship
- The scene where Spike says "And you take too long to take a shit!" it was changed to "And you take too long to take a crap!"
- The scene that shows Faye coming out of the shower to answer the phone was cut.
- The scene that shows Faye talking to Ed on the phone while in the shower was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the camera zooms in on Faye's face, as a result you can no longer see her cleavage.
- The scene that shows man with glasses getting shot through the head during the train battle was cut.
- The scene that shows Vincent's bullet blasting out of Spike's body was cut.
- The scene where Chief says "Shit!" was muted.
- The scene where Chief says "Shit!" was muted.
- The scene that shows Vincent's bullet hitting Spike during the fight on the tower was cut.
