Dead Space Extraction is a rail shooter that was developed by EA Redwood Shores, Eurocom and published by Electronic Arts. The video game was released on September 24, 2009. In order to be released in Germany the game had to be censored.

- Blood splatters were removed.
- Body parts lying around the levels were removed.
- The scene that shows the doctor getting beheaded in a scripted scene was cut.
- The scene that shows the soldier who refused to let Weller and Eckhardt into the room getting killed by an exploding Necromorph was modified for the German release. In the German version you don't see the soldier's severed head or the corpse you also don't see the soldier's hand on a table.
