F.E.A.R is a survival horror video game that was developed by Monolith Productions and published by Vivendi Universal Games and Warner Bros. Games. The video game was released on October 17, 2005, and in order to be released in Germany the game had to be censored.

Germany Censorship

  • In the intro of the game the pool of blood by a soldier was removed.
  • The scene that shows Alma coming into a room in which two soldiers are standing. In the uncensored version the soldiers are lifted up by magic and explode bloodily. The blood clouds was removed in the German version.
  • The scene that shows a teammate getting pulled into a black hole by one of the supernatural beings and dying was modified for the German release. In the German version the blood was removed.
  • The scene that shows a vision of what Alma when she was angry was modified for the German release. In the German version the blood on the scientists were removed.
  • The scene that shows one of the villains getting killed by a truck was modified for the German release. In the German version the blood was removed.
  • The scene that shows Alma entering a room with three ATC soldiers was modified for the German release. In the German version the clouds of blood were removed.
  • Shooting rats no longer causes them to explode instead they simply disappear.
  • Shooting corpses no longer causes additional damage.
  • Enemies can no longer burst apart when you are using weapons like the shotgun.
  • Pool of blood were removed.
  • Blood stains on the walls were removed.
  • Amputations no longer happen.

Where to find it uncensored

Every other country has it uncensored.
