Final Fantasy VII is a Japanese RPG video game that was developed by Square and published by Square and Sony Computer Entertainment. The video game was released on January 31, 1997. Before the video game was released strong language was uncensored, but before the game shipped it was censored.

- The line "Shit!" in the ending cutscene was modified for the PC release. In the PC version the word "Shit" was changed to "S#@%!"
- The scene where Cid says "Shit! Shit! Shit! What's the hell wrong with this place!" was changed to "@#$%! @#$%! @#$%! What's the hell wrong with this place!"
- The scene where Tifa says "You old wrench!" was changed to "You old $*&^%!"

There is no public uncensored version for the PC release. The original PlayStation version is uncensored.
