Gargoyles is an American cartoon that was produced by ABC. It was released from October 24, 1994 to February 15, 1997. Due to controversies over gun violence in cartoons, one of the episodes was censored on Toon Disney and ABC.

    3. The scene where Owen says "It may prove difficult to find the necessary manpower. This castle has a bad reputation. The locals consider it haunted." was cut. (This scene has been aired uncensored since 2003.)
    4. The scene where Xanatos says "You know the answer to that, Owen. Pay a man enough and he'll walk barefoot into Hell." was cut. (This scene has been aired uncensored since 2003.)
  • Episode 8
    1. The scene that shows Elisa lying in a pool of blood was modified for the Toon Disney broadcast. In the Toon Disney version it zooms in on Elisa's face.
    2. The scene that shows Broadway picking up Elisa was shortened, as a result you can no longer see any blood.
