Lollipop Chainsaw is a hack and slash video game that was developed by Grasshopper Manufacture and published by Kadokawa Games (JP) and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment (WW). The video game was released on June 12, 2012. Due to the game targeting a Cero D rating the game was censored in Japan.

Japanese Censorship[]

  • Blood was changed to pink sparks or simply just removed. (Blood and walls and floors are still normal red blood)
  • Severed body parts no longer are always shown completely separated and any gore is no longer shown and instead the bloody stumps left are recolored black.
  • Severed heads are no longer shown and are either changed to be random objects like footballs for example or simply covered up with pink sparks to make it so you can't see it.

Where to find it uncensored[]

The Premium Edition is the least censored version in Japan; it restores the gore and is rated Cero Z. Every other country has it uncensored.
