Looney Tunes

Looney Tunes is a series of theatrical cartoon shorts made in the USA. The shorts would eventually be broadcast on TV, where they would be subjected to varying levels of censorship. Some networks that have aired Looney Tunes shorts include the BBC, TBS, WB, Fox, Cartoon Network, TNT, ABC, CBS and Nickelodeon.

There were also 12 Bugs Bunny Cartoons banned from a 2001 "June Bugs" marathon on Cartoon Network which were originally supposed to be shown uncut. Some of the shorts have aired on Cartoon Network and other channels before. The shorts are listed here:

• Hiawatha's Rabbit Hunt: Has aired on Cartoon Network around Thanksgiving before.

• Any Bonds Today?: Banned because it is outdated and Bug's blackface gag is sort of lengthy.
• What's Cookin' Doc?: Has aired on The Bob Clampett Show, Bugs and Daffy and The Looney Tunes Show uncut. Considered the least offense of the 12.

• Herr Meets Hare: Has aired on Cartoon Network's sister channel Turner Channel Movies's Cartoon Alley.
• A Feather In His Hare: Used to regularly air on Cartoon Network but has rarely aired since the ban.

• Frigid Hare: Now airs regularly in edited form on Cartoon Network and Boomerang.
• Which is Witch?: Has aired edited after Chuck Jones death, but is otherwise rarely shown.

Where to find uncensored

The Golden Collection DVD's are uncensored, and when you watch it online it is uncensored. The Bob Clampett Show aired some of the shorts uncensored.
