Minecraft Earth is a mobile simulation game developed by Microsoft Studios and published by Mojang. The app was released in October 17, 2019 in the United States and in October 28, 2019 internationally. When the Caves and Cliffs update was released a mob was removed to avoid violence. A number of things were also censored in the West.

Censorship[edit | edit source]

International Censorship[edit | edit source]

  • Goats were removed due to their violent attacks.
  • Drowned zombies have more clothes.
  • Zombies have more clothes.
  • In the uncensored version, zombies and drowned zombies dont have underwear, while in the German, Portugal, Brazil and Western version they have underwear.

Kenya Censorship[edit | edit source]

  • Drowned zombies have more clothes.
  • Goats are less agreesive.
  • In the uncensored version, goats are gay, but in the Kenya version they are no longer gay anymore.
  • In early snapshots of the Caves and Cliffs update, goats were originally removed but was re-added in later snapshots due to the censorship that Kenya made to the app.
  • Zombies have more clothes just like drowned zombies.

Germany Censorship[edit | edit source]

  • In the uncensored version, goats and baby goats make a angry sound is modified and censored in the German release. In the German release you no longer hear the sound.

Singapore Censorship[edit | edit source]

  • Due to goats being illegal and too violent in Singapore, Minecraft, Minecraft Dungeons, Minecraft Earth and Minecraft Education Edition were banned, but goats were later removed and now the 4 games were unbanned.

Where to find it uncensored[edit | edit source]

The North American, Japanese and European versions of Minecraft Earth are completely uncensored.
