Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory is a Japanese anime OVA series that was produced by Sunrise as part of the Gundam franchise. The series was first released in Japan from May 23, 1991 to September 24, 1992. It was censored when it began airing the United States in 2002 due to Toonami wanting to make the show more family friendly. It was moved to Adult Swim at the last second but the censorship was retained. Violence was toned down, swear words where removed, sexuality was toned down and alcoholic content was removed.
