NecroVisioN is a first-person shooter alternate history game released in 2009. As expected by the genre, there is a substantial amount of graphic violence and gore in the game. This caused the game to get a M rating with the ERSB and a 18 with PEGI, but due to no 18+ rating for video games in Australia it was censored in order to be released with a M rating.

Australian Censorship[]

The majority of blood and gore was removed entirely or replaced with dust clouds in the Australian version. However, this turned out to be overkill, as this censored version got an M rating (usually equivalent to a T rating by the ESRB) rather then the MA15+ required.

This version was also released in Germany with a USK 18 rating.

Where to find it uncensored[]

Every country other then Germany and Australia had it completely uncensored.
