PlayStation 4

This is a non-exhaustive list of the games censored on the PlayStation 4. Since 2016, with the move of Sony's headquarters to the west, there has been an increase in censorship of video games, especially for games made in Japan.

Agony

• Violence/gore was censored worldwide in order to avoid getting a adults only rating.

Beyond: Two Souls

• Violence was toned down in the Japanese and European releases.

Blue Reflection

• Sexuality is toned down Internationally.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3

• Nazi symbols were removed from maps.

Call of Duty: WWII

• Gore was removed in the Japanese release, Nazi symbols were removed from the German release. And a scene was altered in Australia.

Conan Exiles

• Nudity was removed from the North American release.

Doom II: Hell on Earth

• Two levels were removed from the German release.

Fate/Extella

• Costume was censored to make it look less like a Nazi uniform.

Heavy Rain

• The game is banned in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia along with nudity being removed from the Japanese release.

Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Fortune

• Sexuality was toned down.

Death Mark

• Violence was toned down after a patch was released outside of Japan.

Destiny 2

• The game has been censored in order to make it more inclusive and less problematic.

Digimon Story: Hacker's Memory

• Religious references were removed in the North American release.

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT

• Sexuality was toned down worldwide.

DmC: Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition

• Sexual scene removed in Japan and suggestive line removed from the remaster.

Doki Doki Literature Club Plus!

• Violence was toned worldwide.

Fate/Extella

• A costume was changed to look less like a Nazi uniform worldwide.

Final Fantasy XV

• Some profanity was removed in a worldwide update and the game is heavily censored in China.

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD

• Suggestive outfits were removed.

Fist Of The North Star: Lost Paradise

• Gore was removed in Japan.

Fortnite

• Police cars were removed from the game in a worldwide patch.

Gal*Gun: Double Peace

• The game was banned in New Zealand and the United Arab Emirates.

• The game was banned in the United Arab Emirates.

Game Tengoku CruisinMix Special

• Sexuality was toned down for the International release.

Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone

• Sexuality was toned down and smoking was removed from the game in the International release.

Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number

• Banned in Australia for a scene of sexual violence.

• The game was made less sexy.

• Nazi symbols removed in Europe and the alien probe scenes were removed from releases in Europe and Australia. The uncensored version is banned in Australia.
