Popeye the Sailor is a series of cinematic animated shorts produced by Paramount Pictures. They were released to theaters from 1933 to 1957 and later aired on TV. They are currently owned by Turner Entertainment. Some shorts are not available on HBO Max due to them having racial stereotypes.
