Saints Row IV banned in Australia

  • The game was banned in Australia because of a mission involving fictional drugs and possibly implied sexual violence (due to the Anal Probe weapon, which was later added as DLC). An appeal was denied by the Classification Review Board. Thus, Deep Silver removed the mission "Psychosomatic" for all versions released in Australia, but not New Zealand. Rewards for the removed mission were moved to the De Plane Boss mission. This version was given an MA 15+ rating.[1] Due to this change in the Australian version, it is impossible to play the censored Australian version in co-op with the uncensored version.[2]

Saudi Arabian censorship[]

Where to find it uncensored[]

The uncensored version is available elsewhere, particularly through play-asia. In most cases, it is legal to possess Refused Classification material in Australia.
