Shrek is an American animated movie that was made by DreamWorks Pictures, and it was released on May 18, 2001. When Cartoon Network started airing the movie it was censored due to network standards. As a result, some language was removed from the Cartoon Network broadcast.
The sequel was Briefly banned in Israel due to a joke about David Daor.[1]
