Spectre is a American spy movie that was made by MGM, and it was release in November 6, 2015. It is part of the James Bond franchise, due to the movie targeting a 12a rating in the UK and a U/A rating in India it was censored. Due to the movie being submitted for advisory cuts an number of scenes were toned down worldwide in order to get the 12a rating in the UK and the PG-13 rating in the USA.

International Censorship[]

  • The scene that shows the bloody aftermath of Mr. Hinx gouging out the eyes of another Spectre agent was cut.
  • The scene that shows Mr. White killing himself was modified for the International release. In the International release he kills himself off-screen, in the uncensored version it showed the suicide.
  • The bloody aftermath of Mr. White suicide was modified for the International release. In the International version the blood was reduced.

India Censorship[]

  • The scene where James Bond kisses a woman was shortened.
  • The word "Asshole" it was changed to "Idiot"
  • The words "Bastard and balls" it was changed to "Bighead and cats"

Where to find it uncensored[]

The International release is the least censored version. Video releases and streaming sites typically carry it uncensored.
