Tony Hawk's Pro Skater (Tony Hawk's Skateboarding in the PAL region) is a 1999 skateboarding video game developed by Neversoft and published by Activision. It was ported to the Nintendo 64 by Edge of Reality. This page details the differences between the original PlayStation version (released on September 29, 1999) and the Nintendo 64 port (released on February 29, 2000), due to Nintendo's family friendly policies still being in force at the time. As a result, the Nintendo 64 port was rated E for Everyone by the ESRB, in contrast to the PlayStation version, which was rated T for Teen.

Nintendo ordered the censorship of the game to make it significantly less mature.
- There is no bloodletting when a skateboarder bails painfully by falling of a skateboard.
- Names of gaps were changed to be less suggestive or mature:
- Handi Gap became Spanky Gap.
- Long Ass Rail became Big Daddy Rail.
- Holy Shi... became Holy Cow.
- Private Carrera's profile: Her age was changed to "41" (it was "Barely Legal" on the PS version).
- Several boards had their names changed, and the graphics for boards are also different.
- "Erector Set" became "Yes Mamm".
- "Viagra Falls" became "Thanks Bob".
- "Manhandler" became "Hot Stuff".
- "Feelin Blue" became "Miss Devastation".
- "New Member" became "Crazy Stats".
- "Solid Wood" became "Foxy Lady"
- "Skate Hard" became "Skate Mean".
Where to find it uncensored
The original PlayStation release of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater is uncensored. It is not possible to find an uncensored version for the Nintendo 64. The Dreamcast port is also uncensored.
